About me
I grew up in Saigon, Vietnam before moving to the United States in 2014. I attended my first virtual learning experience and earned my first Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from NorthCentral University in 2011. After moving to the United States, I decided to follow my passion for working with children and become a teacher!
In 2018, I graduated with my second Bachelor degree from Southwest Minnesota States University, and have a teaching license with endorsement in Academic Behavioral Strategist (ABS). When I am not teaching, you can usually find me in my kitchen preparing foods, spending time with my kids, and traveling.

This is my 3rd year teaching in Tri-Valley Highschool. Before that, I taught for 5 years as a middle school Special Education at Worthington Middle School, Minnesota. I love working in a special education field where I could be creative in my teaching by researching and applying different strategies, accommodations to meet the educational needs of my students. My goal as a teacher is to instill a lifelong love for learning. I also love celebrating the unique gifts that each child brings to the classroom. Therefore, I make it my mission to build a classroom community filled with kindness, compassion, and respect for all. My ultimate goal is to make sure your child is safe and reaching their full potential at school so that they will become good citizens after graduating.

I am married with two active kiddos, William (9) and Chloe (6) who I love to spend the rest of my day with.
